The tired hiker trailed along behind the group, struggling to keep up.
The kids trailed along behind their parents, complaining about the long walk.
Don’t just trail along—hurry up! We’re going to be late.
A narrow dirt road trails along the edge of the lake.
The river trails along the valley for miles before joining the sea.
tag along:更强调“主动粘着别人跟着”(比如小孩缠着大人),无明显“不情愿”;
