“认证机构”常见的英文表达是 certification body 或 certifying authority。
certification body 是较为通用和常用的术语，在国际标准、行业规范以及各类正式文件中频繁出现。例如：The certification body conducted a thorough audit of our quality management system.（认证机构对我们的质量管理体系进行了全面审核。）
certifying authority 也有类似含义，在一些语境中会使用，但相对“certification body”使用频率稍低一些 。例如：The certifying authority issued the certificate after rigorous evaluation.（经过严格评估后，认证机构颁发了证书。）
